This subtle cabled design gently undulates down your leg leaving smooth pathways of knits and diamond patches of purls. The cables slightly bias the fabric, leaving an undulating, moving, almost dancing feel to the knit pathways. Designed for long repeat striping yarns with gradual changes, these socks would also work well in a wide range solid or variegated yarns. The cabled pattern is easy to memorize and execute, and these socks use one of the simplest heel designs available - the Strong Heel, making these socks well suited to the sock beginner who is ready to branch out beyond plain vanilla socks. Socks are designed to be knit cuff down with a grafted toe.
Finished sizes: Small 7.2", Medium 7.8", Large 8.4", X-Large 9" Shown in Medium.
Gauge: 11 SPI in cable stitch (aprx 9-10 SPI in stockinette)
Yarn: 100 grams (1 ball) Lana Grossa Mega Boots Stretch yarn, or other sock weight yarn. Shown in color 712
Needles: 4 - 2.25mm (US 1) DPN's, or size needed to obtain gauge + 1 cable needle.
