Suzi's Knits introduces our new Beaded Stitch Markers. For years I have avoided buying pretty stitch markers because for me at least, anything that dangles is somethign I can wrap my yarn around, catch my knitting on, or otherwise just get in the way. Yet I also don't like plain rings, as they always seem to manage to slip under the stitch they're supposed to be marking! So I have developed my own - a simple colorful bead on a ring. Nothing hanging to catch on your knitting, and the bead lifts the ring out from your needles just enough to keep that marker from sliding under your stitches. Available in a range of colors. Ring and bead comfortably fits up to size 9 needles.
I have also been searching for pretty clip on markers, for attaching to knitting to either count rows, or mark a loop you'll need to pick up later. Again, I wanted nothing dangling to get in the way and get woven into the work. I've developed a set of semi-precious stone clip on markers, using earrings as the base and a simple stone bead for decoration. Also available in a (smaller) variety of colors.
Glass bead markers are sold in sets of 6 single colored beads or 12 mixed colored beads. "Rainbow" includes 2 of each color, all others are a random assortment. See chart below to select colors.
