This handy tote has everything you need to carry around your sock making supplies, and then some. Outer pouches for tools and notions, inner pockets for your pattern instructions, and plenty of room for needles in the elastic along the sides. Its small and light (weight depends on fabric choice), and packed with pockets. The finished size is just over 5X5 inches wide and 8 inches tall

Materials needed:

• 2/3 yard of sturdy fabric, at least 45 inches wide. This is enough for 2 totes.
• 4 - 6 inch lengths of 1/2 inch wide elastic for knitting needle holder
• Chalk or pencil for marking
• Sewing machine, thread, etc.

Optional extras:

• 1 yard of canvas strapping for handles (can use leftover fabric from bag instead)
• 2 yards of bias tape in contrasting color (can put seams inside bag instead)

Pattern is a written description of how to sew the bag, with small schematic diagrams. No cutting templates are included, as pieces are just rectangles. Some skill with sewing is highly recommended, as you will need to sew a hem around corners.
